Getting here from Frankfurt: A66 or by rail
From Frankfurt city centre, the A66 leads directly to Wiesbaden; depending on traffic, you will reach Biebricher Allee 23 in 30 to 40 minutes, and the Wiesbaden-Biebrich exit is close by. From the west of Frankfurt, from Höchst or Unterliederbach, the journey is even shorter. By train, the S1 and S8 run from the main station (Hauptbahnhof) or Hauptwache to Wiesbaden; the regional express takes about half an hour. From Wiesbaden main station, you can reach the practice by bus in a few minutes or on foot in just under a quarter of an hour. If you work from home, the treatment fits easily into half a day, and you will be back at your desk in the afternoon.
Why the trip from Frankfurt is worth it
Deciding on a light or laser treatment is less a question of the device than of the hand that guides it and the conversation beforehand. Patients from Frankfurt particularly value that at our practice the skin is assessed by a physician rather than at the front desk, that we also advise against a treatment when it is not the right fit, and that a suspicious pigmented lesion must always be clarified dermatologically first before light comes into play. Then there is the technology: BBL HERO and MOXI are among the current Sciton systems, with a cooled handpiece, short treatment times and downtime that fits into a full Frankfurt calendar.
What BBL HERO and MOXI can do
- Sun and age spots on the face, hands and décolleté — with the BBL HERO pigment treatment, usually in one to three sessions. Details under pigment spot removal.
- Couperose, small veins and redness — with the BBL HERO vascular treatment; in detail under Couperose and rosacea.
- Tired, blotchy skin — with Forever Young, which combines pigment, redness and skin renewal in one session.
- Pores, texture and glow — with the fractional MOXI laser, which renews the uppermost layer of skin in microzones.
- Acne with Forever Clear and loss of firmness with SkinTyte.
The two devices complement each other: BBL HERO works on the colour of the skin, MOXI on its texture. In combination, we treat both in a single appointment — for patients from Frankfurt the most efficient route, because one journey and one recovery period are enough. Which method suits which skin is explained in the guide BBL or MOXI.
How to plan your appointment
Consultation — in person or combined directly with treatment
The BBL & MOXI consultation takes 30 minutes and costs €40. If you would rather not travel from Frankfurt twice, the consultation and first treatment can be scheduled on the same day on request; the medical consent discussion then takes place immediately before the session.
Treatment
Allow 30 to 60 minutes at the practice. For MOXI, a numbing cream is applied beforehand; BBL HERO usually manages with cooling alone.
Journey home
You are fit to drive after both procedures. The skin is reddened and feels warm; sunglasses and the sunscreen we apply are sufficient for the journey home.
The days after
After BBL, spots briefly darken and flake off; after MOXI, the skin feels rough for two to three days. What you should keep in mind is set out in the aftercare for BBL and MOXI; if you have questions, we can be reached by phone — a second journey is not necessary for that.
Before your first appointment from Frankfurt
For the journey to be worthwhile, a few things should be in place beforehand. The skin must not be tanned in the four weeks before treatment; self-tanner also distorts the device settings. Make a note of your medications, especially antibiotics, St John's wort or isotretinoin, which increase light sensitivity. Photos are not necessary; we assess the skin in person. If you are prone to cold sores or have reacted to sun with dark spots in the past, tell us during the consultation; both affect planning. Stop using acid-based skincare and retinol a few days beforehand. And if a pigmented mole is new or has changed, have it checked dermatologically before the appointment, because we do not treat such moles with light. If you clarify these points in advance, consultation and first session can usually be combined in one day.
Timing: Frankfurt schedules and downtime
Most BBL programmes involve hardly any downtime; a morning appointment and a client meeting in the afternoon are not mutually exclusive, only the darkening of the spots remains visible for a few days. MOXI and the combination need two to three days during which the skin is reddened and shows fine dots; many people therefore book the session for a Thursday or Friday. Important presentations or events should not fall within the first week. And as with all light-based procedures: preferably between October and April, without a tan, and with consistent SPF 50 in the weeks afterwards.

Risks and limits, honestly stated
Light and laser are medical treatments. Possible effects include redness, swelling, crusting, rarely blisters or a temporary shift in pigmentation, and with MOXI a reactivation of cold sores. We treat melasma only after careful consideration, and tanned skin, pregnant women and active skin infections not at all. We discuss your personal risks and alternatives in a medical consultation before every treatment. If you are coming from Frankfurt and are also considering a wrinkle treatment, you will find the right page under Botox for Frankfurt.

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get from Frankfurt to the practice?
By car via the A66, depending on traffic, 30 to 40 minutes to Biebricher Allee 23 in Wiesbaden. With the S1, S8 or the regional express you reach Wiesbaden main station in about half an hour; from there it is a few minutes by bus or a brisk quarter of an hour on foot. Parking is available in the side streets.
Can I have the consultation and treatment on the same day?
Yes, on request. Book the consultation and let us know that you are travelling from Frankfurt; we will then schedule time for a first treatment immediately afterwards, provided the skin is not tanned and there are no contraindications. The medical consent discussion takes place directly before the session.
Can I still work after the treatment?
After BBL HERO, usually straight away; the skin is reddened, make-up is usually possible the next day, and spots visibly darken for a few days. After MOXI or the combination, you should allow two to three days of redness and rough skin. Video calls are feasible, but an important appearance does not belong in these days.
What do BBL HERO or MOXI cost for patients from Frankfurt?
Prices are the same for everyone: local treatment from €120, pigment or vascular treatment of the face €290 to €440, Forever Young €450, MOXI €390, the combination €690, each per session incl. 19% VAT according to the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). The consultation costs €40, and a 3-session package is 15% less.
Why not simply choose a practice in Frankfurt?
That is a fair question. Those who choose us usually do so for the medical consultation, the up-to-date Sciton technology and the option of combining light and laser in a single appointment. Whether the journey is worthwhile for you can be judged well in the consultation; we will also tell you if a treatment is not the right fit.
How many appointments will it be in total?
For individual spots, often just one. Forever Young is usually planned as a series of three sessions about four weeks apart, MOXI with three to four, the combination with two to three. After that, a refresher once or twice a year is generally sufficient. We schedule the follow-up appointments to suit your journey from Frankfurt.
