Your treatment with BBL HERO and/or MOXI is complete. The skin is now working for a few days: pigment spots darken and flake off, and after MOXI the surface renews itself. These notes will guide you through the first period.
Cool gently, no heat, no irritants. The skin is warm and slightly reddened — this is expected.
Pigment darkens and flakes off finely. After MOXI, the skin feels like sandpaper. Do not scratch, do not exfoliate.
SPF 50 daily, no sun, no sunbeds. After that, the next session is possible.
The skin may feel warm and be reddened. Cool gently — with a clean cold pack wrapped in a cloth or a cool compress, without pressure and without ice directly on the skin.
No heat for 48 hours: no sauna, no hot baths or showers, no sport, no sunbeds. Heat intensifies redness and swelling.
No irritants: no acids, no retinol, no peels, no fragranced products. Only mild cleansing with lukewarm water and the skincare you were given by us.
After MOXI, please no make-up for 24 to 48 hours. After BBL alone, mineral make-up is usually possible the following day.
Do not rub, do not scrub, do not run your fingers over the spots — even if the skin feels tight.
After BBL HERO, treated pigment spots contract, become noticeably darker and look like coffee speckles for a few days. This is the expected course: between day five and ten they flake off finely. Treated small veins may briefly be more visible or form a small crust and then fade. After MOXI, the skin is reddened for two to three days and feels rough — the “sandpaper-like feel” is the tiny treatment zones renewing themselves. Use mild skincare without active ingredients until the surface is smooth again.
Sun protection SPF 50 daily — for at least four weeks, even under overcast skies, even in winter, even by the window. Reapply after two to three hours outdoors.
No direct sun, no tanning beds. Freshly treated skin pigments easily; sunburn during this time can create new spots.
Retinol and acids may be slowly reintroduced after about a week, once the skin has fully healed and is no longer reddened.
No further device-based treatments, no microneedling and no chemical peels in the treated area until we have seen you again.
The next session is usually possible after about four weeks — we set the appointment together.
