How the treatment works
Consultation & examination
Medical assessment of the sweating and information about the treatment.
Preparation
Marking of the area and disinfection; numbing cream may be applied to sensitive sites.
Injection
Botulinum toxin is injected superficially into the affected area in a fine grid pattern — this takes only a few minutes.
Onset of effect
The effect develops within about one week.
Duration & cost
We allow around 30 minutes for your appointment. Prices start at €550 and are calculated according to the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ) — the exact amount depends on the effort and extent of the treatment. You will receive a transparent overview in advance.
Good to know
- How long the effect lasts varies from person to person, often several months; the treatment can be repeated.
- On the day of treatment, please avoid sport, sauna and deodorant in the treated area.
- You can return to your daily routine immediately afterwards.
- In cases of severe sweating, a prior medical evaluation of possible causes may be advisable.
