How the treatment works
Blood draw
A small amount of blood is drawn, just as for a routine blood test.
Processing
The blood is centrifuged and the platelet-rich plasma is extracted under sterile conditions.
Injection
The PRP is introduced into the treatment area — scalp or face — using fine needles.
Series
For a cumulative result, 3–4 sessions at intervals of around 4 weeks are usually recommended.
Duration & cost
We allow approximately 60 minutes for your appointment. Prices start at €250 and are calculated according to the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ) — the exact amount depends on the effort and scope of the treatment. You will receive a transparent overview in advance.
Good to know
- As only your body's own material is used, allergic reactions to the preparation are practically ruled out.
- Mild redness, swelling or a feeling of tightness usually subsides within 1–2 days.
- On the day of treatment, please refrain from washing your hair (for scalp PRP), exercise and sauna.
- Results develop over several weeks and vary from person to person.
